Pile Driving Log · Effective July 13, 2026
Pile Driving Log is a field tool for recording pile driving operations. This policy describes what data the app handles and where it goes. The short version: your data stays on your device, and we collect nothing.
The app does not collect, transmit, or share any data. There are no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no third-party services or SDKs of any kind.
Everything you enter — pile records, blow counts, hammer details, elevations, SCDOT Form 700.15 fields, and reference notes — is stored locally on your device. The app never sends this information anywhere on its own.
If you use iCloud Backup or device backups, your app data may be included in those backups under Apple's standard backup behavior, which is controlled by your device settings, not by this app.
When you export a pile record (PDF, Excel, or CSV), the app creates the file on your device and opens the standard iOS share sheet. Where that file goes — email, messages, cloud storage, a printer — is entirely your choice. The app itself never uploads or transmits your exports.
The "Report / Request" button opens your own email app with a pre-addressed message to pile.driver.log@gmail.com. The draft includes the app version and iOS version to help with troubleshooting; you can see and edit everything in the message before deciding whether to send it. Emails you send us are used only to respond to your report or request.
You can delete any pile record inside the app at any time. Deleting the app removes all of its data from your device.
This is a professional tool for construction field work. It is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone.
If the app's data practices ever change, this policy will be updated and the effective date revised before the change takes effect.
