IronApex

Summary

IronApex does not collect, transmit, or share any of your personal data. Everything stays on your device.

1. Information We Collect

IronApex stores the following data locally on your device only:

Workout sessions, exercises, sets, reps, and weights you log
Training programs and templates you create
Body metrics (e.g., bodyweight) you enter manually
Gym equipment and inventory preferences
App settings and preferences

We do not collect your name, email address, location, device identifiers, or any other personally identifiable information.

2. Apple HealthKit

With your permission, IronApex can read and write data to Apple Health:

Writes: Completed workouts (strength training) and bodyweight entries
Reads: Your most recent bodyweight to pre-fill the body metrics screen

HealthKit data is accessed solely to provide in-app features. It is never transmitted off your device, shared with third parties, or used for advertising. IronApex does not use HealthKit data for any purpose other than the features you explicitly use.

3. Data Storage & Transmission

All app data is stored using Apple's on-device SwiftData framework. No data is ever sent to our servers — because we don't operate any servers. There is no account system, no cloud sync, and no backend infrastructure.

4. Third-Party Services

IronApex does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or tracking SDKs. No data is shared with any third party.

5. Apple Watch

If you use the IronApex Apple Watch companion app, workout data is synchronized between your iPhone and Apple Watch using Apple's WatchConnectivity framework. This communication stays within your personal devices and is not transmitted externally.

6. Widgets

IronApex includes a home screen widget that displays a snapshot of your recent workout activity. This data is read from the same on-device store and is not shared externally.

7. Data Deletion

You can delete all app data at any time by removing IronApex from your device. Any HealthKit data that was written by the app can be deleted directly through the Apple Health app.

8. Children's Privacy

IronApex is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this privacy policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
